About Me
Lewis Lamar is an attorney with The Valentine Law Firm in Nashville, North Carolina. Lewis focuses mainly on local government and education law, civil litigation, small business incorporation, real estate transactions and handling traffic matters. He represents the Braswell Memorial Public Library in Rocky Mount, and, with his father, Wardlaw Lamar, also represents the Nash-Rocky Mount Board of Education.
Lewis graduated from the Campbell University School of Law in 1995 and before that obtained a B.A. in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Now entering his tenth year of marriage, Lewis and his wife Terri have two daughters, both adopted from Russia in 2005.
Last summer, Lewis made a presentation to the North Carolina Council of School Attorneys Conference at Atlantic Beach, North Carolina on the subject of New Legal Challenges to Suspensions and Expulsions.
